People Operations Coordinator

The People Operations and Technology team at Chainalysis is focused on building a seamless, scalable, and data-driven employee experience. We’re increasingly leveraging AI and agentic workflows to transform how the People team operates to eliminate manual work, accelerate decision-making, and reimagine how the People programs are designed and delivered across the <business.In> this role, you’ll:Manage core employee lifecycle processes in Workday (hiring, internal job changes, exits), recommend process optimization and champion new HRIS processes as they roll outServe as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, delivering timely and accurate support through our ticketing systemOwn data integrity across people systems by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepanciesIdentify opportunities to automate manual People processes using AI and workflow tools, and collaborate with the team to implement themBuild and maintain the People team's internal knowledge base as a reliable, self-service resourceAssist with benefit administration for colleagues across the globeSupport compliance and audit readiness, including SOC 2, regulatory requirements, and the employee handbookDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and process documentation for all core People workflowsPartner closely with cross-functional partners (Finance, BizTech, Legal, Security) to ensure successful resolution of process, program, or data issuesWe’re looking for candidates who have:The highest degree of integrity at all timesMaturity & discretion when handling sensitive informationStrong organizational, communication, prioritization, and project management skillsPast experience using Google Suite and willingness to consistently learn about its new features and toolsA team-first mentality and customer-oriented approachDemonstrated history of creative problem-solvingNice to have experience:Familiarity with the technologies we use (e.g. Workday, Atlassian, Google Workspace) from an end-user or process perspectiveExposure to HR compliance programs and audits including evidence gathering and control documentationExperience in People (HR) Operations or a similar program management roleProven documentation, communications, and/or knowledge management skillsHands-on experience leveraging AI, automation, or agentic toolsTechnologies we use:WorkdayAshbyAtlassianSlackGoogle WorkspaceADPActivpayrollDeelOktaInternal AI tools (emerging)AI at ChainalysisAI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working.
