We believe that data-driven, safe inventory management will optimize the global physical economy and improve economic prosperity for humanity.What we’re seekingWe are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our fast-paced, mission-driven team. You will be instrumental in scaling production and shipping by assisting two technicians and our QA engineer, as well as working closely with our two operations associates. Reporting directly to the production planner/manager, you will help meet production deadlines for drones and landing pads, as well as shipping deadlines for clients.Specifically, in this role you will:Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by assisting technicians with assembly, testing, and production of drones and landing <pads.Work> closely with our QA engineer to uphold quality standards and catch issues before they impact production or shipping.Coordinate with operations associates and QA engineers in packing crates and smaller packages to meet shipping <deadlines.Work> closely with all of the manufacturing and ops team in assisting in smaller and larger tasks from 3D printing, creating labels and shipping, office operations (occasionally) + physical tasks like moving large boxes to different locations and warehouseUnpacking incoming packages and bringing to respective rooms, as well as updating and monitoring inventory through company softwareMust haveAbility to come into the office 5x times a week (hours can be flexible e.g. technicians come at 6am, or regular 9-5pm) + attend Friday in person meetingsExperience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment, ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced settingDemonstrated ability to follow detailed build and assembly procedures with strong attention to detailComfort working hands-on with hardware, tools, and equipment used in production and testingAbility to collaborate closely with technicians, QA, and operations teams to keep production movingPhysical ability to move and carry heavy objects and boxesStrong communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines under pressure$75,000 starting salary, Mountain View Office, reporting directly to production managerNice to haveExperience working in robotics, deeptech, or hardware manufacturingFamiliarity with quality assurance or quality control processesExperience working at an early-stage startup or joining a hardware company early in its growth phase
