We recently raised a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission.About The Role:We're looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead and scale EliseAI's internal IT function. This role is ideal for someone who has built or significantly grown IT at a high-growth technology company and is excited to shape the function as the business continues to scale.About the role:This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You'll build a high-performing IT organization that enables the business to move quickly while delivering a reliable, secure, and scalable employee technology <experience.You>'ll own the IT strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations, balancing immediate business needs with long-term investments in automation, infrastructure, and operational excellence. You'll build the systems, processes, and operational foundation that enable IT to scale, improving employee lifecycle operations, standardizing endpoint management, increasing automation, strengthening operational governance, and delivering a secure, reliable technology experience in close partnership with Security <Engineering.You>'ll lead and mentor the IT Support team, help define the future structure of the organization, and establish the standards and operating model that allow IT to scale alongside the company. Working closely with People Operations, Workplace Operations, Security Engineering, Finance, and other business leaders, you'll drive cross-functional initiatives, improve the employee technology experience, and build scalable solutions that increase efficiency across the organization.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, developing people and creating the operational foundation that supports the company's next stage of growth.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, Lead & Scale EliseAI's IT FunctionOwn the strategy, roadmap, and execution of EliseAI's internal IT function, ensuring it scales alongside the businessLead enterprise IT across identity and access operations, endpoint management, networking, SaaS administration, and employee technologyEstablish scalable processes, standards, operational metrics, and best practicesBuild, mentor, and grow the IT teamFoster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and exceptional employee supportLead IT OperationsOwn identity and access operations, endpoint management, SaaS administration, networking, office technology, and the employee technology lifecycleEnsure employee onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and device lifecycle management are reliable, efficient, secure, and highly automatedOwn hardware procurement, software licensing, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, lifecycle planning, and the IT budgetServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure, endpoint, and SaaS issues while remaining hands-on when neededDrive Automation & Operational ExcellenceIdentify opportunities to automate manual work and improve how IT supports the business through workflows, integrations, AI-powered solutions, scripting, and internal toolingBuild operational playbooks, and self-service resources that improve consistency and reduce support overheadDefine and leverage service delivery, fleet health, and operational metrics to continuously improve reliability, efficiency, and the employee experiencePartner Across the BusinessPartner closely with People Operations, Workplace Operations, Security Engineering, Compliance, Finance and other teams to deliver scalable technology solutionsLead cross-functional IT initiatives from planning through implementation and serve as a trusted advisor on employee technology and operational improvementsPartner with Security Engineering to implement security requirements across identity, endpoints, SaaS platforms, and employee technology while supporting compliance initiatives, including SOC 2Maintain operational processes, access governance, and documentation that support security, audit, and compliance objectivesEnsure office networking, conference room technology, AV systems, and collaboration tools provide a reliable employee experienceOperate with a high degree of discretion and confidentialityMove at rocket speed, build something massive.We’re scaling fast, solving real client problems with precision and ambition. If you’re hungry, driven, and ready to build something massive, climb aboard.Requirements6–8+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or Internal IT, including experience leading IT teams in a startup or high-growth technology companyExperience building, scaling, or modernizing an internal IT function, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on executionProven experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing IT teamsStrong technical depth across the modern IT stack, including Okta (or equivalent SSO/SCIM/MFA), MDM platforms (Mosyle, Jamf, Kandji, Intune), and core business applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom)Experience supporting both macOS and Windows environments, with strong expertise in endpoint management, networking, SaaS administration, and identity operationsExperience owning employee onboarding, offboarding, identity provisioning, access management, and device lifecycle processesExperience leading cross-functional IT initiatives, enterprise software implementations, and company-wide technology rolloutsExperience building automations, integrations, or internal tools using scripting, APIs, AI, or workflow automation platformsExperience managing hardware procurement, software licensing, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and IT budgetsStrong customer service mindset with a high degree of ownership and comfort serving as the escalation point for critical IT issuesPragmatic, resourceful, and able to build scalable systems without creating unnecessary bureaucracyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical partnersWhy JoinGrowth and impact. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
