Assistant Group Communications Manager

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented professional to join our Group Communications team. The ideal candidate should possess strong media relations instincts with a passion for emerging technologies and digital trends, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Your new role Write and produce high-quality multimedia content, including press releases, thought leadership, social media posts, website copy, and internal communications Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets Monitor media coverage and industry news relevant to the company during office hours, with rotational/ad-hoc off-hours coverage as needed Conduct desktop research and synthesise key findings into clear synopses and insights Support corporate website content development, SEO and GEO, as well as special projects and perform additional duties as assigned To succeed this role 3–5 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field Strong media relations instincts and a genuine curiosity about emerging technologies and digital trends Experience in working in a fast-paced environment or PR agency experience is preferred Proven experience in efficient media monitoring, research, and content development Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
