Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily food service operations, including meal preparation, serving, sanitation, and cleaning.
• Supervise food service personnel and designated alternates.
• Ensure compliance with Navy food service regulations and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, customer service, and safety practices.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and coverage during operating hours.
• Maintain accountability for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and supplies.
• One designated manager must be qualified to operate and maintain a Mobile Kitchen Tent (MKT).

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum

• 5 years
• experience in government or commercial kitchen operations.

Minimum

• 3 years
• supervisory experience in food service.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Military food service experience at E-6 or above may substitute for required experience.
