Job Summary The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical faults, supporting equipment reliability, and collaborating with electricians and welders to resolve equipment issues. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production equipment and machinery. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement timely corrective actions. Assist electricians and welders in resolving equipment-related issues when required. Carry out preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime. Complete assigned maintenance tasks according to schedules and supervisor instructions. Report maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and repair progress to supervisors. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintenance procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Qualifications Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in equipment maintenance or a related mechanical maintenance role. Experience in a machining or manufacturing environment is preferred
