About The Role

Position Overview The IT Supervisor oversees the daily technical operations, network infrastructure, and system stability across both trading company offices and facilities in Liberia. This role combines hands-on system administration—including server management, network monitoring, and security—with project implementation to ensure seamless, secure business operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational & System Administration Direct and manage daily IT operations, end-user support, and technical infrastructure across the Liberia trading office and manufacturing plant. Administer and maintain core network architecture, including firewalls, enterprise switches, Access Controllers (AC), and Access Points (AP). Oversee server maintenance, Active Directory (AD) domain controls, operating system updates, and user access permissions. 2. Infrastructure & Project Implementation Lead the planning, deployment, and continuous management of hardware network monitoring systems and surveillance infrastructure across all facilities. Ensure zero operational downtime by establishing backup protocols, network redundancy, and routine system health audits. 3. Departmental Support & Documentation Maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), IT asset inventories, and infrastructure logs. Execute strategic IT initiatives and additional operational tasks assigned by department leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is strongly preferred). Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT system administration, network engineering, or an IT supervisory role. Language & Communication: Proficient in English (strong written and verbal communication skills) with the ability to draft clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across business units. Technical Skills & Competencies Networking & Security: Mastery of switches, firewalls, network AC/AP configuration, hardware network monitoring tools, and CCTV/surveillance systems. Systems & Infrastructure: Deep knowledge of server administration, Active Directory (AD) domain control, operating system deployment, and hardware equipment maintenance. Core Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, project management, and the agility to manage technical requirements across dual trading and manufacturing environments.
