About The Role
Position Overview The Executive Assistant / Business Assistant to the Managing Director plays a strategic operational and administrative role in supporting the MD. This position bridges high-level strategic planning with day-to-day execution across all business functions. The ideal candidate will oversee branch operations, manage government and regulatory relations, enforce corporate governance policies, and drive organizational performance with absolute integrity and legal rigor. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational & Branch Oversight Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Branch to ensure seamless execution across all business units and functional teams. Drive operational efficiency, performance management, and continuous process improvement initiatives across the Branch. Assist the Managing Director in organizational planning, business operations management, and the execution of key strategic initiatives. 2. Government Relations & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strategic relationships with regulatory bodies, government agencies, service providers, local authorities, and key industry stakeholders to facilitate smoothly running branch operations. Act as a high-level representative of the Executive Office during official correspondence, negotiations, and inter-agency discussions. 3. Governance, Compliance & Legal Risk Management Develop and implement corporate governance policies to strengthen accountability, legal compliance, operational discipline, and organizational performance. Conduct risk identification and legal analysis to safeguard the branch against operational, legal, and compliance risks. Qualifications & Professional Requirements Education & Degrees: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Administration, Law (LL.B), or Management . Relevant professional qualifications/master's degrees (e.g., MPA, BFA, LL.B/LL.M ) preferred. Work & Industry Experience: 8–12 years of total professional and industry experience. At least 3 years of direct experience in an executive support, operational management, or strategic advisory role. Professional Knowledge & Technical Skills Knowledge Domains: Proficient in public administration management, high-standard executive service, and regulatory/legal frameworks. Highly familiar with Human Resource management principles and corporate administration. Legal & Risk Analysis: Demonstrated capability in risk identification, legal analysis, and regulatory policy implementation. Document & Communication Skills: Exceptional business document writing, official correspondence, and high-level negotiation abilities. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of standard office tools, business software, and executive presentation tools. Key Qualities & Core Competencies Core Abilities: Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills, deep analytical ability, executive-level execution, and a rapid-response mindset. Personality & Character: Honest, upright, rational, rigorous, and capable of handling high-confidentiality matters with total integrity.
