Job Title: Sales Supervisor – Steel & Construction Materials Department: Sales & Marketing Product Portfolio: Steel Pipes, Roofing Sheets, Nails, and related hardware I. Position Purpose The Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving the commercial success of the steel product line by leading a high-performing sales team, expanding market share through strategic channel development, and ensuring the healthy financial turnover of accounts through diligent payment collection. II. Key Responsibilities • Team Leadership & Performance: Oversee the daily operations of the steel sales team, ensuring all members are aligned with corporate targets for steel pipes, roofing sheets, and nails. • Market Expansion: Actively identify and develop new distribution channels and customer segments to increase the brand's footprint in the construction and hardware sectors. • Field Engagement: Maintain a consistent schedule of customer visits to build long-term relationships and understand ground-level market needs. • Financial Accountability: Take ownership of the full sales cycle, including the critical task of payment collection and debt recovery to maintain healthy cash flow. • Intelligence Gathering: Conduct regular product research and collect competitive market information to inform pricing and stock strategies. III. Candidate Specifications & Requirements • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related study • At least 3 years of proven sales experience specifically within the steel or construction materials industry is required. • Demonstrated ability in channel development and expanding business through diverse distribution networks. • Strong skills in sales team management, including coaching, performance tracking, and conflict resolution. • Advanced capability in handling complex customer relationships and negotiations.
