About The Role

Your responsibilities Leadership As a highly-experienced and successful lender, you are seen as a senior team member in the retail network and a respected subject-matter expert. You are autonomous in driving your own results, while working and thinking as part of a team, role-modelling Great Southern Bank’s leadership values at every opportunity to enhance the performance of the Retail Network. Networking and Lead Generation Well-known and well-respected in your local community, you work closely with your Branch Manager to promote the Great Southern Bank Brand and purpose to our existing and future customers, through regularly strategic networking and business development activities. You actively generate top business results to fulfill our customers' needs, both through your local network and through leads provided by the Bank’s contact centre and branches. You develop and maintain a regular call and visitation schedule for key lead referral sources. You are always aware of our competitors and deliver to exceed their performance. Sales Performance You are accountable for the day-to-day operations of your service, including meeting service standards and performance targets. Your responsive service ensures customers are never waiting more than four (4) hours to hear from you. You work to our customers' timeframes to meet their needs. You have quality, needs-based conversations, and full financial service discussions, tailoring solutions that support our customers in pursuing their goals. In addition to providing home loan solutions, you promote and cross-sell ancillary product lines, including everyday banking, personal loans, savings accounts, and insurances. You thrive on results and exceeding targets. Process and Operations You maintain a strong knowledge of Great Southern Bank’s lending and ancillary products, and you adopt sales strategies aligned with the divisional business plan. You prepare loan files and supporting documentation in a timely manner. You monitor and maintain current lead information on the referral database and complete all training modules as required. Your experience Minimum 2 years’ experience mortgage lending/credit assessment Demonstrated experience in working with all banking products Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and previous experience pursuing leads and obtaining business through network activities Self-motivated, driven and results oriented with a proven ability to apply cross-selling techniques for products and services Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer and sales focus Ability to problem solve complex financial problems Strong ability to work autonomously whilst still maintaining strong connections with your team Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management
