Job Description – BIOVIA Consultant/Developer (5+ Years Experience) Job Title: BIOVIA Consultant / Developer Experience: 5+ Years Location: UK Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced BIOVIA Consultant/Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in BIOVIA applications, scientific informatics, system integration, and end-to-end solution delivery for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or chemical industries. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, configure, and support BIOVIA applications and solutions. • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Implement and customize BIOVIA products such as: o BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot o BIOVIA Workbook o BIOVIA ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) o BIOVIA CISPro o BIOVIA ONE Lab (preferred) • Develop workflows, protocols, reports, and integrations with enterprise systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve application, configuration, and performance issues. • Collaborate with business users, scientists, QA teams, and IT stakeholders. • Perform system upgrades, migrations, and validation activities. • Create technical documentation, SOPs, and user training materials. • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, SIT, and UAT. Required Skills • 5+ years of experience working with Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA solutions. • Strong experience in BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot development and workflow creation. • Experience with BIOVIA ELN, Workbook, CISPro, or related platforms. • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases. • Experience with Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, or API integrations. • Understanding of laboratory informatics and scientific data management. • Experience integrating BIOVIA with LIMS, ERP, MES, or other enterprise systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field. • BIOVIA certifications are highly preferred. • Experience in GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, and regulated environments. • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or cloud-based BIOVIA deployments. Nice to Have • Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences domains. • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and application deployment processes. • Experience with data migration and system validation activities.
