Axway MFT / Secure Transport Support Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Axway MFT / Secure Transport Support Engineer to support enterprise file transfer platforms and critical business integrations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT), Axway Secure Transport, production support, troubleshooting, and secure partner connectivity management.

The role involves supporting business-critical file transfers, managing incidents, coordinating with infrastructure teams, and ensuring high platform availability.

Key Responsibilities

Axway Administration & Support

• Administer and support Axway MFT and Secure Transport environments.
• Configure secure file transfer processes and workflows.
• Manage partner onboarding and connectivity setup.
• Support certificate installation, renewal, and management.
• Configure and maintain SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2 integrations.

Production Support

• Provide L2/L3 production support.
• Monitor file transfer activities and troubleshoot failures.
• Resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support change and release management activities.

Integration & Connectivity

• Coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
• Work with firewall and security teams.
• Validate file transfer connectivity and communication channels.

Monitoring & Automation

• Monitor system health and transfer performance.
• Create automation scripts for operational activities.
• Support batch scheduling and monitoring processes.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain operational documentation.
• Prepare support runbooks and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.
