Job Overview Manages and implements sourcing strategic project lifecycle, identifies emerging issues and trends, and recommends solutions. Job Requirements Tasks Summary & Responsibilities (please enclose organizational charts) Strategic Plant Lead- Qingdao role is member of Qingdao plant leadership team to achieve operational goals and objectives through managing suppliers’ performance of productivity, quality, delivery and compliance. ➢ Lead plant procurement activities with clear ownership and connects plant priorities with global commodity strategies, and drives operational execution with speed, clarity, and consistency. ➢ Hold direct ownership on plant material productivity and drive alternative material change for cost reduction. ➢ Lead Operations Certifications and Audits with focus on procurement requirements. Be familiar with ISO9001/IATF16949 management system requirements and knowledges ➢ Lead Executive Procurement Review and Report Out within the plant ➢ Support plant insourcing/transfer activities led by Operations. Regional Commodity Lead role to lead and coach a team of regional commodity managers and accountable for the responsible commodities across the ACL sector plants in Asiapac as below, but not limited to: ➢ Create a supplier sourcing strategy, under strong consideration of customer needs, that defines strategic suppliers into grow, fix and exit suppliers and maintains product footprint, incl. “make or buy”-analysis. ➢ Drive the attainment and improvement of relevant procurement KPI’s, incl Cost Saving, Delivery and Quality ➢ Responsible for contracting of supplier commercial agreements, incl. bailment, inventory management and supply agreements. ➢ Responsible for preparing RFQ’s, utilizing E-Tools, awarding new business and negotiation all raw materials, components, and tooling ➢ Lead the optimization of the Supplier Footprint, incl. setup of new suppliers, reducing number of supplier and resourcing activities ➢ Responsible for conducting business review with strategic suppliers and the drive of respective corrective actions ➢ Ensure NPI alignment to global sourcing commodity strategy and limit number of new suppliers ➢ Conduct supplier risk assessments to ensure a resilient supply chain. ➢ Ensure that all suppliers meet TE requirements for compliance (RoHs, Reach, conflict minerals, supplier portal usage) 3 3 Requirements for a typical Job Holder / Applicant Educational Degree Bachelor’s degree or above(Engineering preferred) Professional Experience (years in what processes and functions would be ideal) ➢10+ years’ experience in procurement, regional experience is a plus. ➢5+ years people leadership experience Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills ➢Strong people leadership skills and proven team development records ➢Understand how to motivate and coach the team to reach the targets ➢Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills ➢Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude ➢Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams ➢Proven track record in negotiation skills ➢Knowledge and expertise on raw material and strong background to drive alternative material implementation. ➢Fluent English What your background should look like Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
