Our English Language Teaching (ELT) business in Brazil continues to grow, and we are looking for a Key Account Executive to join our Brazil team. This position is based in São Paulo City . About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven and strategic Key Account Executive to contribute to the continued growth of Oxford University Press' ELT business in Brazil. The Key Account Executive will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key educational institutions, strategic partners, distributors, and major customer accounts across Brazil. The role combines account management, business development, and consultative selling to drive sustainable revenue growth and long-term customer success. Reporting to the Sales leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening executive-level relationships, negotiating strategic agreements, and influencing customer decisions in a highly competitive education market. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments, and the ability to drive growth through both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts. This role offers significant visibility within the organization and the opportunity to directly influence the commercial growth strategy of Oxford University Press in Brazil, while managing some of the most strategic customer relationships in the education sector. The role requires frequent engagement with customers and partners across Brazil, including travel when needed. Key Responsibilities • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic key accounts within the Brazilian education and ELT market. • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, school leaders, educational groups, distributors, and institutional partners. • Identify opportunities to expand revenue, increase product adoption, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships. • Lead strategic account planning and customer engagement activities to support business growth objectives. • Develop and execute account growth strategies, including upsell, cross-sell, and new business acquisition initiatives. • Manage complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions with customers and partners. • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive opportunity identification and stakeholder engagement. • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. • Deliver high-impact presentations, product demonstrations, and value-based commercial proposals. • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations teams to maximize customer satisfaction and retention. • Utilize Salesforce and CRM tools to manage account plans, sales activities, forecasting, and customer insights. • Represent Oxford University Press at industry events, conferences, and strategic customer meetings across Brazil. About You We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused, and commercially astute professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships and delivering business growth. Essential Skills and Experience • Proven experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Account Management, Business Development, or Consultative B2B Sales. • Demonstrated success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth within strategic accounts. • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close complex business opportunities. • Excellent relationship management, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. • Experience managing pipelines and sales activities using CRM platforms such as Salesforce. • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Portuguese and English. • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Desirable • Experience within Education, ELT, Publishing, EdTech, Learning Solutions, or related sectors. • Knowledge of the Brazilian K-12, private school, language school, or higher education markets. • Experience managing large educational groups or strategic institutional customers. • Experience working with distributors and channel partners. • Experience within international and matrix organizations.
