Your Contribution Drive performance improvement of defined Commodity in Japan Lead Purchasing activities in defined commodity together with Commodity Buyers in other Japan countries Monitor supplier capabilities and market trends in Japan Manage and align Supplier Panel with Global Commodity Buyer Develop Material Purchasing strategies Join supplier nomination of key projects Conduct annual supplier negotiation to achieve saving target Take Supply Chain Risk management Follow Contract Management guideline Promote supplier transfer to LCC Support new project launch in Japan Support escalations from other functions like Plant, Supplier Quality, Logistics, etc. Other individual tasks from the superior Your Experience & Qualifications University Bachelor degree or above 3+ years in Purchasing/Buyer experience is mandatory Purchasing/Buyer experience in Metal is a plus Working knowledge of business systems (SAP etc) Experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industry is a plus Experience in global company is a plus Fluent in both English and Japanese Our Offering; We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
