How you will do it

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop qualified suppliers to strengthen and continuously improve the local and regional supply base.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity, quality, delivery, and cost competitiveness.
• Lead supplier performance management activities, including regular business reviews, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cost Optimization & Business Support

• Collaborate closely with engineering, project, and operations teams to drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support the bidding and proposal process by providing market intelligence, sourcing strategies, and competitive supplier solutions.
• Drive productivity and working capital improvement initiatives through effective sourcing, inventory optimization, and payment term management.

Category Strategy Deployment

• Partner with regional and global Category Managers to develop and execute category strategies aligned with local business requirements.
• Ensure effective implementation of procurement strategies, processes, and compliance standards within the local organization.
• Provide market insights and supplier intelligence to support strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Management & Transformation

• Act as a trusted business partner to local stakeholders, driving procurement transformation and change management initiatives.
• Foster strong collaboration between procurement, engineering, project management, and business leaders across Japan and the broader APAC region.
• Influence stakeholders and suppliers to achieve business objectives and procurement targets.

• 戦略的調達・サプライヤーマネジメント

• 日本および地域市場におけるサプライヤーベースの強化・改善のため、適格なサプライヤーを特定・評価・開拓する
• 供給安定性、品質、納期、コスト競争力を確保するため、戦略的サプライヤーとの関係を管理する
• 定期的なビジネスレビュー、是正措置計画（CAPA）、継続的改善活動を通じてサプライヤーパフォーマンスを向上させる

コスト最適化・事業支援

• エンジニアリング、プロジェクト、オペレーション部門と連携し、バリューエンジニアリングやコスト削減施策を推進する
• 市場情報、調達戦略、および競争力のあるサプライヤーソリューションを提供し、入札・提案活動を支援する
• 効果的な調達活動、在庫最適化、支払条件管理を通じて、生産性向上および運転資本改善を推進する

カテゴリー戦略の展開

• APAC地域およびグローバルのCategory Managerと協力し、ローカルビジネスのニーズに合致したカテゴリー戦略策定および実行する
• 調達戦略、業務プロセス、およびコンプライアンス基準を社内に適切に導入・運用する
• 戦略的意思決定を支援するため、市場動向やサプライヤー情報を提供する

ステークホルダーマネジメント・組織変革

• 社内顧客の信頼できるビジネスパートナーとして、調達改革やチェンジマネジメントを推進する
• 日本およびAPAC地域の調達、エンジニアリング、プロジェクトマネジメント、事業リーダーとの強固な協働体制の構築
• ステークホルダーやサプライヤーに働きかけ、事業目標および調達目標の達成を支援する
