About The Role
- Process payment requests, vendor invoices, staff advances, and expense liquidations accurately and in line with CHAI's financial policies.- Ensure all transactions are correctly coded to the appropriate project, donor, and budget line before entry into the accounting system.- Implement and monitor financial controls including bank reconciliations and other control accounts, finance reports, etc.- Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules as directed.- Maintain complete and well-organized financial files, both physical and electronic, in a consistently audit-ready state.- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.- Process statutory remittances in accordance with local...
