We value giving people a voice and creating an environment where colleagues can thrive and develop their careers.About the RoleWe are seeking a Skilled Technician - Plumber to join our Fire & Flood team, based in Swindon and surrounding areas. This role involves the delivery of plumbing works ranging from minor reactive repairs through to full installations and reinstatement works within domestic and commercial restoration projects. You will work on diverse projects, providing high-quality plumbing expertise and ensuring all work meets UK water regulations and our stringent standards.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumber to deliver quality work on varied restoration projects within a supportive and growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery of installation and repair of hot and cold water systemsInstallation and replacement of sanitary ware including toilets, basins, baths, and showersPipework installation including copper, plastic, and push-fit systemsLeak detection and repairBasic drainage works and waste pipe installationIsolation, removal, and reinstatement of plumbing systems during restoration worksCoordination with other trades during reinstatement projectsTesting and commissioning of installed systemsExecution of minor plumbing repairs and maintenance workPartial system replacements and full bathroom or kitchen plumbing installationsReinstatement works following water or fire damageWorking within occupied properties in a professional and courteous mannerWorking to agreed programmes and deadlinesCompliance with health and safety requirements on siteSkills, Knowledge, and ExpertiseNVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent demonstrable experienceFull UK Driving LicenceUnderstanding of UK water regulations and plumbing standardsAbility to read drawings and specificationsKnowledge of safe isolation and system testingAwareness of water damage implications in restoration environmentsWhat We're Looking For:We seek a skilled and professional plumber who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
