Intermediate Accountant

Job Description: Staff level position performing various duties related to the financial reporting process. Areas of responsibility include GAAP/Stat financial statement preparation and reporting, reinsurance accounting, reconciliations and monitoring cash flow. All functions focus on both accurate and timely completion based on the close schedule. Key Functions/Duties of Position: - Preparation of accurate GAAP financial statements and reporting packages as assigned, including journal entries, supporting schedules and analysis, meeting all due dates per closing schedule. -
