Job Purpose To coordinate the integrated activities to support the National Command Centre, Digital Services with the responsibility of extracting, organising, reviewing and structuring data for the execution of Digital Services. The incumbent will also be required for collation, forecasting, scheduling, monitoring, tracking and maintaining of information requirements for the allocated business area. Education and Experience Minimum Qualification & Experience Required National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) in Computer Science and Information Technology with 2-3 years’ experience in Data Analytics, SQL, PowerBI and advance MS Excel, of which 1 – 2 years at a knowledge worker level #Alternative Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 5 years’ experience in Data Analytics, SQL, PowerBI and advance MS Excel, of which 1 – 2 years at a knowledge worker level Job Outputs: Process Accumulate information and provide reports with recommendations applicable to area of specialisation. Analyse, develop and maintain details of equipment, specifications, staffing numbers, capacity, skills of staff and capacity of infrastructure. Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks. Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in area of specialisation. Constantly seek opportunities to improve work requirements, procedures, policies, processes, and delivery systems. Correctly apply policies, practices, standards, procedures and legislation in the delivery of work outputs. Develop and maintain networks and relationships to ensure effective communication with peers, obtaining mutual cooperation. Effectively plan and schedule own activities to continuously improve quality and service delivery in area of specialisation. Ensure the integrity and quality of all data collected and identify and escalate associated problems. Execute process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a result of the change. Guide the development of leave and training shrinkage targets and plans, ensure compliance with forecasting, staffing and scheduling of resource types. Implement initiatives relating to projects that will lead to improved key processes across own area of business accountability. Investigate, report on and educate staff related to resource utilization, discharge planning and related aspects of delivery. Provide specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process, product and risk optimisation. Tack service levels performance standards across all activities and providing workflow management directives when required. Use practical and applied knowledge and situational judgement to arrive at decisions.
