Position Overview
Columbus Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the greater Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama communities. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with exposure to both coronary and structural interventional procedures across affiliated hospitals and outpatient settings.
Key responsibilities/services include
- Coronary and structural interventional procedures
- Echocardiography interpretation
- Nuclear cardiology interpretation
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Cardiac consultations and follow-up care
Evaluation and management of cardiovascular and vascular conditions
Peripheral vascular interventions (preferred based on experience)
The incoming physician will collaborate closely with APPs, medical assistants, and administrative teams across both clinic and hospital settings to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Shared call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life integration with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production incentives, call stipend, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications
Board Certified / Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
MD or DO
- Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
- Preferred (not required): Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology and/or Echocardiography
- Peripheral vascular training and experience preferred
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality outcomes
