Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in surveying and CAD while supporting our engineering and surveying teams. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has an interest in technical design and drafting, and is committed to producing accurate, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and revise technical drawings, plans, and exhibits using AutoCAD and other CAD software. Assist with the preparation of civil engineering and surveying plans, layouts, and construction documents. Support project teams with drafting and design tasks for land development and surveying projects. Review drawings and documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards. Assist with incorporating survey data, measurements, and other project information into drawings and plans. Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and other team members to support project needs and deadlines. Develop familiarity with CAGE standards, drafting practices, software, and project workflows. Learn and apply industry standards, drafting techniques, and civil engineering and surveying principles. Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree in CAD, surveying, civil engineering, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Entry-level position; prior professional experience is not required. Relevant coursework, internships, co-ops, or hands-on experience is a plus. Exposure to AutoCAD or other CAD software through coursework, internships, or previous experience preferred; Civil 3D experience is a plus. Interest in learning and developing skills in surveying, civil engineering, and drafting principles and techniques. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and willingness to learn. Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, maps, or survey information preferred, with a willingness to further develop these skills on the job. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and overall alignment with the role and company needs.
