We’re looking forward to meeting you! As a Corporate Accounts Officer at BSM, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing corporate accounting activities at Group level. This includes processing corporate accounting transactions, maintaining accounting records and the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, preparing fixed asset reports, and managing intercompany billings, while ensuring full compliance with BSM accounting standards, procedures, and company policies. What you'll do Process all accounting transactions and maintain accounting ledgers Execute prompt settlement of accounts and payments upon approval Handle group cross-charges, shared services allocations, and intercompany Issue and monitor supplier invoices and intercompany billing Produce analytical monthly accounting reports for management Produce and monitor quarterly forecasting and annual budget Handle employee credit card reconciliations and travel expense reimbursements Assist in internal and external audits Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations Process invoices and expenses, including travel expense claims, and update all accounting ledgers Settle accounts/payments upon approval Raise and reconcile intercompany invoices periodically Reconcile accounting transactions per BSM policies Process group-related cross-charges Accounting Reporting Update management accounting systems promptly Develop analytical monthly accounting reports Provide management with required financial information Control & Compliance Review accounting transactions and processes to ensure appropriate controls and compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve and cost optimization Apply appropriate VAT treatment to accounting transactions and maintain related records Others Assist in internal and external audit queries as required Support various financial processes by coordinating across teams, ensuring availability of required information and addressing queries. Qualifications & Experience University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounts. Ship management or a similar industry experience preferable. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems Strong understanding of accounting principles Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Good analytical and conceptual thinking Attention to detail Good interpersonal and communication skills Maritime market knowledge People management skills Fluency in English Why You Should Join Us!
