About The Role
About the Role As a Procurement Junior Officer , you will support the procurement of materials and services needed for store expansion and building-related projects. You will work closely with internal teams, project teams, and external vendors to source the right products and services while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery. This role offers broad exposure to procurement across building, general services, and supply chain requirements. You will be involved in market research, vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, procurement documentation, and supplier coordination, while continuously developing your procurement expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Gather and analyze procurement requests for building and infrastructure materials and services, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and properly documented. Conduct preliminary market research and identify potential suppliers that can meet project specifications, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Source and compare vendor quotations, pricing, specifications, and commercial terms to support cost-effective procurement decisions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and project teams to ensure procurement requirements are aligned with project timelines and specifications. Communicate and negotiate with vendors regarding pricing, specifications, availability, and delivery timelines, ensuring clear understanding between both parties. Monitor the procurement process and lead time, following up with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure materials and services are delivered according to agreed timelines. Maintain accurate supplier databases, quotation records, procurement documentation, and reporting to support transparency and effective decision-making. Support inventory monitoring, unused asset identification, and other procurement improvement initiatives to optimize costs, reduce waste, and maximize value. What You'll Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree (S1) with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, preferably in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. 0–1 year of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Project Administration, or related areas; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, supply chain, and vendor management processes. Strong ability to understand and compare technical specifications, pricing, and commercial terms when evaluating suppliers. Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for data management, quotation comparison, tracking, and reporting; familiarity with Looker Studio / Google Data Studio is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where procurement requirements may span across building, general services, and supply chain categories. Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization skills and willingness to conduct occasional site visits to support store expansion and project requirements.
