About The Role
About the Role As a Technical Support Officer – IT Operations , you will provide hands-on technical support to ensure the day-to-day IT operations across the organization run smoothly. Beyond traditional helpdesk support, you will troubleshoot and maintain devices, meeting room equipment, printers, CCTV, and other IT infrastructure while supporting operational and technology projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues, manage service tickets, and support project implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems directly in the field, is eager to learn new technologies, and can communicate effectively with stakeholders across different functions. What You'll Do Provide hands-on technical support for day-to-day IT operational issues, including laptops, applications, printers, meeting room equipment, CCTV, and other workplace technology. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and configure IT devices and equipment, including basic hardware disassembly and replacement when required. Manage and follow up on technical support tickets, ensuring issues are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved within agreed timelines. Support the setup and standardization of IT devices and equipment across different entities, functions, and operational locations based on defined requirements. Conduct routine checks of meeting rooms, devices, CCTV, printers, and other IT facilities to ensure they remain functional and ready for daily operations. Support IT projects and implementation activities, including preparing devices, documenting technical requirements, and assisting with project execution and floor implementation. Develop and maintain technical documentation, device standards, and operational guidelines to serve as references for IT setup across different functions and locations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and relevant teams to resolve technical issues, provide updates, and identify opportunities to improve IT operational processes. What You'll Bring to the Team Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software installation, device configuration, networking, and IT troubleshooting. Hands-on experience in assembling/disassembling laptops or PCs, installing applications, configuring devices, or troubleshooting hardware is highly preferred. Familiarity with workplace IT equipment such as printers, CCTV, meeting room devices, and other office technology is an advantage. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Proactive, hands-on, and willing to learn new technologies and technical processes through field experience. Able to manage multiple tickets, operational requests, and project tasks while prioritizing based on urgency and business impact.
