About The Role

Build the Future with Us ! We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to support the project’s engineering activities across various phases. The role will focus on process simulation, digitalization, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant design and operation of process units. Reporting to the Process Lead, you will work closely with licensors, EPC contractors, and internal engineering, operations, and safety teams to deliver technical excellence. Work Location: Head Office, Jakarta Selatan & Site Plant Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical industries. Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, ProII, or similar. Hands-on experience in developing and interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, and process calculations. Familiarity with Basic Engineering Design (BED), material and energy balances, and equipment sizing. Demonstrated experience in supporting digital engineering initiatives (e.g., P&ID digitalization). Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental standards including SMK3 and ISO 14001. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills. Job Responsibilities Develop and review steady-state and dynamic process simulation models for ISBL process units and OSBL offsites and utilities to support design validation, troubleshooting, and performance improvement. Prepare and review basic engineering deliverables, including process calculations, material and energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, and major equipment sizing. Coordinate with licensors and EPC contractors to validate the process design basis, key deliverables, equipment selection, material requirements, and operability. Analyze plant and simulation data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve throughput, energy efficiency, reliability, and operating costs. Support the digitalization of P&IDs to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and collaboration across engineering disciplines. Collaborate with engineering, operations, construction, and HSE teams, including participation in technical reviews, HAZOP, SIL, and other process safety studies. Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for process units, offsites, and utility facilities. Ensure all engineering activities comply with process safety, occupational health, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and support corrective actions for identified non-conformances. Provide technical input for feasibility studies, project proposals, and potential business development opportunities.
