Job Description – Warehouse Manager Job Title: Warehouse Manager Department: Supply Chain & Operations Location: As per Business Requirement Reporting To: Regional Operations Manager / Fulfillment Head About the Role We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, operational excellence, and experience in warehouse management within the e-commerce, healthcare, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or logistics industry. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and periodic stock audits. Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory discrepancies. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve operational targets. Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Support teams for seamless operations. Monitor warehouse KPIs such as productivity, inventory accuracy, order turnaround time, and dispatch timelines. Optimize warehouse space utilization and improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including GDP/GMP guidelines where applicable. Handle escalations related to inventory, dispatch, returns, and damaged products. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain preferred). 5–8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in e-commerce, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, retail, or logistics industries will be preferred. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP applications. Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse best practices. Leadership and people management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment. Knowledge of pharmaceutical storage norms and cold-chain operations will be an added advantage. Exposure to automation, barcode/RF scanning, and warehouse process optimization.
