About The Role

Duties

  • (a) To assist in organising life-wide learning activities and competitions for the promotion of national education;
  • (b) To provide support for networking activities among schools;
  • (c) To develop learning and teaching resources for the promotion of national education;
  • (d) To develop and maintain web-based resource platforms;
  • (e) To provide support for the use of information technology, including handling quotations for procurement and stocktaking; and
  • (f) To perform any other duties as assigned.

Entry Requirements

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [See Note (i)];

(b) A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) / a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [See Note (i)];

(c) Met the language proficiency requirement of "Level 5" or above in Chinese Language and English Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) , or equivalent [See Note (ii)];

(d) At least 4 years' relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) and (b) above] experience in teaching and/or curriculum development, such as developing learning and teaching resources, organising schools' and teachers' networks, organising educational events and conducting educational projects [See Note (iii)];

(e) Good knowledge of the local education system and the curriculum reform;

(f) Good command of written English and Chinese;

(g) Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua preferred;

(h) Proficient in computer knowledge and skills, including word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software; and

(i) Be self-motivated and able to work under pressure and possess good leadership, presentation and collaboration skills.

Pay

$51,545 per month

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 2 years.
