Description
As a Facility and Inventory Specialist , you champion and level-up our facilities from a basic shop to a simple, effective, and systematic operation that supports the evolving needs of our R&D, engineering, and production teams. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the future of decarbonization.
Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end operations of our combined office, lab, and manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence
- -
- Identify, anticipate, and resolve facility related issues and improvement opportunities, engaging with contractors as necessary
- -
- Plan and coordinate facility build-outs to support evolving R&D, engineering, and production demands as we scale
- -
- Receive incoming deliveries and routing to inventory locations, ensuring documentation and traceability are maintained with our systems
- -
- Retrieve and package inventory into traceable kits for production teams
- -
- Develop the standard operating procedures for facility maintenance and inventory operations
- -
- Manage the generation, delivery, and/or waste of production commodities (compressed gasses, DI water, industrial fluids)
- -
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
5+ years of hands-on experience in facilities management, warehouse operations, logistics, or similar roles in energy, industrial, aerospace, defense, or similar production environment

Familiarity with facility, supply chain, inventory, quality management processes and the systems used to support them (ERP, MES, QMS, CMMS, Jira, etc…)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Able to work on-site in Hawthorne, CA
Preferred Skills & Experience
- -
- Experience in developing early-stage startups from limited procedures to systematic operations
- -
- Ability to safely operate forklifts (5-15k lb) with non-standard loads
- -
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, ADA, safety systems, and regulatory requirements
