Position Overview The Senior Executive – Ireland Accounts will be responsible for managing the complete year ‑ end accounting cycle, preparing financial statements in accordance with Ireland GAAP (FRS 102, FRS 105), and handling corporate and personal tax compliance for Irish clients. This role requires deep expertise in accounts production software, preparation of working papers, reconciliations, and statutory filings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage Ireland-based client deliverables while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Year-End Accounts & Financial Statements Prepare year ‑ end working papers and supporting schedules for Irish entities. Produce financial statements using various accounts production software (e.g., Surf, Relate, TaxCalc , or similar used for Ireland clients). Prepare year ‑ end accounts and ensure compliance with FRS 102, FRS 105 , and SCAPS/PQS requirements. Maintain accurate lead schedules, control accounts, and audit-ready documentation. Finalize year ‑ end accounts and support filing with relevant authorities. Tax Compliance Prepare Corporation Tax (CT) Returns for Irish companies. Prepare Personal Tax Returns for individual clients. Ensure all filings are completed within Revenue Ireland deadlines. Assist in tax computations, adjustments, and identifying tax-saving opportunities. Reconciliations & Period-End Activities Perform month-end and year-end supplier reconciliations . Prepare control accounts and verify balances for accuracy. Identify and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts and year ‑ end balances. Working Papers & Documentation Prepare comprehensive Excel-based working papers for year ‑ end accounts. Develop lead schedules, control accounts, and management letters. Ensure working papers meet internal quality standards and audit requirements. Compliance & Quality Review Ensure all financials comply with Irish accounting standards (FRS 102/105). Assist with internal review processes and compliance documentation. Maintain proper record ‑ keeping and follow best practices for Ireland accounts. Client Coordination & Communication Communicate with Ireland clients to obtain required documents and clarify accounting or tax queries. Provide status updates on deliverables and ensure timely completion. Handle queries from auditors or tax advisors when required . Key Success Measures C lient – Client Satisfaction, Associate Retention and Attraction Financial – Reduced cost-to-serve/optimization, Profitability improvement Operational – Defined Structure, Improved Employee Value Proposition People – Higher associate engagement, lower attrition Education, Skills & Experience ACCA/CA/CMA/CPA qualified 3 – 4 Years Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, XERO, CCH, Receipt bank, Surf, Expensify, , QBO Strong understanding of Ireland GAAP (FRS 102, FRS 105) and Revenue Ireland processes. Experience in preparing CT Returns and Personal Tax Returns. Hands ‑ on experience with accounts production software (Surf, Relate, TaxCalc , etc.). Excellent knowledge of year-end working papers, control accounts, and reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel ( vlookups , pivots, formulas for working papers). Shift Timings 12:30 PM IST – 10:00 PM IST (Indian Summers) 01:30 PM IST – 11:00 PM IST (Indian Winters)
