Job Description Job Description & Summary: We are looking for an experienced Azure Migration Specialist with 5-8 years of hands-on experience to join our cloud transformation team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, planning, and executing migrations of on-premises workloads, applications, and data to Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, secure, and optimized cloud adoption. Job Position Title: IN_ Senior Associate_ Azure Migration Specialist_ One cloud _Advisory_Noida Responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute migration strategies from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Microsoft Azure. Analyze existing infrastructure, workloads, and applications to determine migration feasibility and requirements. Perform hands-on migration of virtual machines, databases, applications, and services to Azure using tools like Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Database Migration Service, etc. Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, or Terraform to enable Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business, security, and compliance requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot migration issues, optimizing performance and cost after migration. Document migration plans, procedures, and post-migration reports. Mandatory skill sets: 5-8 years of experience in cloud migration projects with a focus on Microsoft Azure. Strong hands-on experience with Azure migration tools: Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Database Migration Service, etc. Solid understanding of networking, storage, compute, and security concepts in Azure. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Terraform). Experience with Azure OpenAI Service Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI. Experience migrating a variety of workloads including Windows/Linux servers, SQL and NoSQL databases, and web applications. Experience with monitoring and cost optimization tools in Azure. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
