Quality Inspector

• Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is hiring dedicated and dependable individuals for Quality Inspector positions in Laurens, SC.
• Pay Rate: $18/hr, $2.50 shift premium for second and third shift.
• Hours: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F)
• Second Shift (3:00 pm - 11: pm, M-F)
• Third Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, M-F)

**Responsibilities**

• Evaluate product dimensionally and visually to assure that product meets customer requirements.
• Maintain lot identity and appropriate paperwork.
• Pull random samples and perform visual and dimensional audits.
• Sort and inspect non-conforming units.
• Perform verifications of incoming materials (laser blanks, metal for assembly, plastic components).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Read blueprints.

**Requirements**

• Inspection experience using a microscope.
• Experience operating small equipment.
• Ability and desire to learn and perform metallization application processes and operations.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Basic math and communication skills
• Must have excellent Hand/Eye Coordination
• Must have correctable 20/20 vision
• Standing, sitting, walking, bending and some lifting
