Job Opportunity: Section In-Charge – Utilities (Operations) Company: JSW Steel Coated Products Limited Location: Rajpura, Punjab Department: Operations – Utilities Reporting To: HOD – CRM operations Number of Positions: 1 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Section In-Charge – Utilities (Operations) to lead and oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of utility systems at our Rajpura facility. Key Responsibilities · Supervise the operation of utility systems, including boilers, compressors, cooling towers, water treatment plants, ETP-ZLD(MVR Technology), and STP . · Ensure optimal and efficient operation of all utility equipment. · Lead and supervise utility shift in-charges, technicians, and operators. · Plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. · Ensure minimal disruption to plant operations through timely response to equipment breakdowns. · Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements. · Monitor equipment performance and maintain operational logs, reports, checklists, and compliance records. · Conduct routine inspections and audits. · Identify opportunities for energy saving, waste reduction, and process optimization. · Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S . · Ensure effective shift handovers and clear communication across teams. Qualification & Experience · Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. · 10–15 years of relevant experience in utility operations and maintenance. · Experience of ETP-ZLD erection, commissioning, establishment and operations.
