Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, Information Systems

  • , or related fields
  • Relevant certifications, such as

Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate

or

Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics

Proven experience as a

Database Administrator (DBA)

focusing on

SQL Server

  • In-depth knowledge of
  • SQL Server versions 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and above

Experience in

  • installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading
  • of SQL Server instances

Proficiency in

Transact-SQL (T-SQL)

for database administration and development

Ability to

monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance

Experience in

query and index performance tuning

Experience with

  • backup and recovery strategies
  • , using native SQL Server tools and third-party solutions

Knowledge of

  • high availability solutions
  • , including
  • Always On Availability Groups, failover clustering, and database mirroring

Knowledge of

  • SQL Server security practices
  • , including access control, data encryption, and auditing

Proficiency in

  • scripting
  • (PowerShell, Python) for automating administrative tasks
  • Experience with tools like

SQL Server Agent

for job scheduling and automation

Experience with

  • monitoring and management tools
  • , including SSMS, SQL Server Profiler, and third-party tools like Redgate or SolarWinds

Ability to

  • diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues
