QA / QC Engineer

You will oversee and execute QA/QC activities for procurement, supplier compliance, and inspection of piping, equipment, and packaged systems to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry codes Prepare and provide project monitoring, cost control, and reporting for the QA/QC discipline Review vendor welding, testing, and NDE procedures Develop, review, and update quality assurance documentation such as Inspection Attribute Lists, Inspection Checklists Inspection/Welding Specifications for product lines in cooperation with Engineering and Project Management Departments You will respond to and manage quality issues identified by vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel Ensure root cause analyses methodology is followed and corrective actions are completed in a timely fashion Communicate lessons learned of QA/QC non-conformities to Engineering for implementation into the design and future best practices Further, you will interpret code issues for design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of piping, pressure vessels, and welding Lead the supplier inspection process and develop Project Inspection Plans and coordinate external inspection resources Provide technical support during Inspection visits of purchased equipment for compliance with project specifications and tools required for QA/QC Engineering and Supplier Inspections, within the Quality Management System Support Supplier audits and evaluation Perform Supplier Cleaning witness and inspection for O2 service and UHP applications.
