Production Planner

Your Role

The Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining feasible production plans that meet customer demand while balancing available capacity, materials and inventory. The role ensures reliable delivery performance, optimized inventory levels and effective coordination between Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service.

You will play a key role in transforming customer demand into an executable manufacturing plan, by converting demand into an executable manufacturing schedule and ensure teams know what to make, when to make it and which constraints require attention.

Your Responsibilities

Create,

• maintain
• and adjust production plans based on customer requirements,
• capacity
• and material availability.
• Manage and coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in line with Group standards.
• Use MRP systems to plan material requirements and release purchase orders for raw materials.
• Monitor raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory levels.

Analyse

• sales orders, forecasts, customer
• changes
• and capacity constraints and adapt plans accordingly.
• Validate demand, capacity,
• material
• and schedule constraints before releasing work orders.
• Confirm delivery dates and proactively communicate risks and recovery actions.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Customer Service to resolve issues and
• maintain
• plan stability.
• Drive disciplined review and replanning cycles, ensuring exceptions are managed proactively.

• or a similar manufacturing environment.
• High school, technical or vocational
• qualification
• .
• Strong understanding of production planning, capacity planning, inventory
• control
• and MRP systems.
• Analytical mindset with excellent
• organisational
• and communication skills.

English
