On-Course Food & Beverage Supervisor, Whistling Straits

Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity On-Course Food Beverage Supervisor provides support to the management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and the supervision of golf course food beverage staff. Manage all guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Assist management with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control and filing. Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner. Assist in reconciling all operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices. Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels. Informs staff about the special items for the day and product changes if any. Coordinate with on-course staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order. Prepare mixed drinks for service (must be 18 or over and licensed). Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort. Assist with inventory, stocking and maintaining the par stock levels for all carts. Inspect beverage carts at the beginning of shift for par stock, cleanliness, etc. Help other areas of the department. Training Course Servers. Assist with overseeing the on-course guest traffic and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations. Resolve escalated guest concerns. Create and execute special projects and assignments. Assist in answering telephone calls from guests. Promptly respond to guest with any additional request. Perform the responsibilities of Course Servers and Outside F B Clerks, as needed. Cross-trained to work in more than one outlet. Demonstrated knowledge of all courses, scheduling needs and coordination of staff. This position is full-time working weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary from 6:30 am - 9:00 pm.
