Position: Dispatcher Location: Stoke-on-Trent Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time Shift Time: 18:00 – 24:00 Salary: Dependent on Experience Job Role: We are seeking an organised and proactive Dispatcher to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is crucial in coordinating patient transport, managing driver schedules, and ensuring timely communication between staff and services. You will play a key role in supporting patient care by keeping operations efficient and responsive. Tasks Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for patient transport and medical deliveries Monitor schedules and adjust assignments to meet urgent operational needs Act as the main communication point between drivers, clinical staff, and management Maintain accurate records of journeys, timings, and service requests Ensure compliance with NHS and UTC operational policies Handle urgent calls and prioritise tasks effectively under pressure Support smooth day-to-day transport and operational activities Requirements Requirements: Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or healthcare coordination preferred Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations IT literacy and basic knowledge of scheduling software or databases Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts Important Information: No sponsorship available Applicants must have the right to work in the UK If you are interested in this opportunity, please provide the following documents: Valid DBS certificate Passport copy Share code (for Right to Work, if applicable)
