Reablement Care Assistant

What You'll Be Doing As a Reablement Care Assistant, you'll support people recovering from illness, injury or hospital admission, helping them regain confidence and independence in their daily lives. You'll support people to: 🤝 Rebuild Confidence Encourage and motivate clients to complete everyday tasks independently. 🚶 Improve Mobility Assist with walking, transfers and exercises prescribed by healthcare professionals. 🍲 Prepare Meals Safely Support people in preparing their own meals and drinks where possible. 💊 Manage Medication Prompt and encourage safe medication routines. 🏡 Regain Domestic Skills Help clients relearn household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and maintaining their home. 🌍 Reconnect With Their Community Build confidence in accessing local services, activities and social opportunities. 👀 Monitor Progress Observe improvements, identify setbacks and report changes appropriately. 📝 Record Achievements Document progress towards individual goals and celebrate milestones along the way.

As a Reablement Care Assistant, you will be paid for your scheduled shift, not per call or visit.
