About The Role
About the role Provide day-to-day legal and operational support to the AFEMEA & ASC Legal team, with a strong focus on corporate governance, entity management, contract administration, and legal operations. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities across jurisdictions and support the team in delivering efficient, high-quality legal services. Key Job Accountabilities Corporate Governance & Entity Management Manage the Business Group’s subsidiary governance framework, ensuring all legal entities remain in good standing across relevant jurisdictions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records, statutory registers, and internal entity databases. Track and coordinate key deadlines (e.g., annual filings, renewals, director mandates) and ensure timely compliance with local requirements. Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and corporate service providers on entity-related matters. Support all company secretarial activities for subsidiaries, including: Preparing, coordinating, and filing corporate documentation (e.g., director/officer appointments and resignations, changes to authorized signatories); Coordinating board and shareholder approvals; Working with external counsel to draft and finalize board minutes, resolutions, and governance documents; Ensuring proper execution, filing, and record-keeping in line with local legal requirements and internal policies. Contract & Legal Support Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating standard legal documents, including templates, termination letters, and claims correspondence. Review contracts and prepare comparison tables or summaries to support legal and business decision-making. Coordinate contract execution processes, including arranging signatures and maintaining contract records. Legal Operations & Administration Support the General Counsel in managing the legal budget, forecasts, and vendor spend. Act as the main point of contact for external legal vendors on billing, including invoice tracking, review, and reporting. Maintain and organize Legal team SharePoint sites and document repositories to ensure accessibility and consistency. Assist with the preparation of presentations, internal communications, policies, SOPs, and training materials. Litigation & Investigation Support Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders to collect and organize documentation required for claims, disputes, or investigations. Provide general support on fact-finding and case preparation as needed. General Support Conduct ad hoc legal research and assist in maintaining and updating template agreements and internal know-how. Take on additional tasks and projects as required to support the Legal team’s priorities. Qualifications/Requirements Legal degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., Legal Practice Course or similar) preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English. Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop. High level of attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems. Ability to prioritize effectively, work under pressure, and deliver on time. Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills. #Li-remote
