Thea Energy is leveraging recent breakthroughs in stellarator physics and engineering to create a faster and simpler approach to commercializing fusion energy. The company is reinventing the stellarator using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils thereby replacing the intricate, complex modular magnets required in all other stellarator architectures. **Position Overview:**
Thea Energy is seeking an ambitious and resourceful executive assistant to join our team and help us build the future of fusion energy. You will serve as a force multiplier for the executive team. As an executive assistant, you will provide critical support across a variety of operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly scaling company. Thea Energy’s dynamic team is made up of self-motivated individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems.
### Key Responsibility Areas
**Calendar**
- Manage and maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings and trips.
- Collaboratively ensure that use of time is aligned with real-time priorities of the company with minimal friction.
- Ensure team is always prepared (and never surprised by) meetings.
- Anticipate needs, and issues before they arise.
**Communication**
- Serve as a point of contact between the executive team and various internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and triage inbound communications.
- Draft, proofread, and edit documents, reports, communications, and other materials.
**Coordination**
- Track action items and follow-ups, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Arrange trips, events, team meetings, and offsite activities as required.
**Other special projects as required**
### Ideal Experience & Skillsets
- 5+ years of work experience as an executive assistant.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly structured and process-driven, with a speed and execution mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Startup experience strongly preferred; comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented.
- Tech-savvy: fluent in Microsoft Office, Google workspace, Slack, Asana, and similar tools; quick to learn new software.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree or greater.

- Salary range $115,000-$155,000
