As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a key role in preventing shoplifting, fraud, vandalism, and other offenses. Garda has both part-time and full-time positions available. Patrol the sales floor to monitor customers who may attempt shoplifting, fraud, vandalism, or other offenses Monitor and detect to ensure all merchandise leaving the store has been paid for Complete loss prevention audits Intervene and apprehend customers attempting to leave the store with unpaid merchandise Conduct arrests Write daily and incident reports with rigor and professionalism Testify in court when required What we’re looking for: Valid Security Guard License Minimum 1 year loss prevention experience Availability for part-time daytime and evening shifts Good judgment and autonomy Strong observation skills and sense of responsibility Ability to react quickly in emergency situations Having a car is considered a strong asset SSTOR
