Senior Cost Controller Kenya

ISS International S.p.A. is currently looking for a Senior Cost Controller / Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join an important operations project in the agri-industrial / manufacturing sector , based in Nairobi, Kenya .

The selected professional will support the Operations team in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and analysis of manufacturing-related costs, providing clear and reliable cost information to management.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in industrial cost control, standard costing, product costing, inventory valuation and SAP-based cost reporting within manufacturing, energy, Oil & Gas or similar industrial environments.

The activities will be performed from the Nairobi office, within an international and structured project environment.

Main Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• At least 7 years of experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Oil & Gas, agri-industrial, FMCG, food production or similar industrial sectors;
• More than 5 years of direct experience in Cost Control, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Plant Controlling or similar roles;
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, cost analysis and budget vs actual variance analysis;
• Hands-on experience with standard costing, product costing, COGS, inventory valuation, cost centres and manufacturing/plant variances ;
• Good understanding of P&L, cost drivers, margins and cost-saving initiatives;
• SAP experience is mandatory ;
• Strong MS Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems;
• Experience with BOMs, routing, PPV, GR/IR, cost roll-ups or manufacturing standard cost environments will be considered a strong plus;
• CPA, ACCA or ICIFA certification will be considered a plus;
• Good command of English;
• Availability to work from the Nairobi office.

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Start date: July 2026

Duration: 1 year, with possibility of extension

Working schedule: 10 worked hours/day – 6 days/week

Rotation: 6 days on / 1 day off

Work environment: office-based position
