About The Role

Legrand is seeking a Test Engineer I to support production testing of electromechanical assemblies at its Reading, UK facility. As part of the Test Engineering team, this role is responsible for validating test programs, maintaining and improving testing technologies, providing technical support, and ensuring the reliable operation of production test equipment. Key duties include troubleshooting test issues, supporting equipment maintenance and upgrades, assisting with the development of test hardware and software, creating technical documentation, training operators and supervisors, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing quality, efficiency, and testing processes.
