Domestic Violence Case Manager

Duties

• Provide comprehensive victim advocacy to individuals affected by domestic abuse or problematic sexual behavior.
• Conduct crisis intervention, safety planning, and provide information on legal rights and available services.
• Assist victims in navigating military and civilian resources, including child protective services, shelters, and counseling.
• Coordinate community awareness programs and trainings focused on domestic abuse prevention.
• Collaborate with installation leadership to ensure awareness and responsiveness to victim needs.
• Maintain records, report data, and ensure confidentiality in accordance with Army regulations.
• Participate in emergency response efforts, providing immediate support and guidance to victims.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience providing victim advocacy services in a social services or military setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or related field.

Preferred

A

Master’s Degree

and

• five (5) years of supervisory experience
• in any social service program.
• Knowledge of domestic abuse dynamics, legal rights, and community resources.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to victims.
• Ability to work independently and respond to crisis situations with sound judgment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a 50-mile radius of the assigned installation.
