We expect engineers in this team to work fluently with modern, AI-assisted development workflows as a matter of course. What You'll Do Design, build, and operate network and server systems that support U-NEXT's streaming platform Design, build, and operate infrastructure services using open-source technologies such as k8s, CEPH, TiDB, and Redis Design, build, and operate infrastructure monitoring and observability systems Maintain, operate, and modernize legacy systems Drive technical research and selection to solve business challenges What You Bring Development experience applying modern, AI-assisted development workflows Self-motivation and a strong drive to learn independently Genuine curiosity about systems, networking, and large-scale infrastructure The ability to collaborate effectively JLPT N2 or higher Japanese language proficiency, or equivalent Nice to Have Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating k8s, CEPH, TiDB, or Redis clusters Experience operating and maintaining large-scale RDBs Development experience with infrastructure-oriented languages such as Shell Script, Lua, or Python Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale services with load and capacity in mind Proficiency in English or Chinese
