Press Group Leader 1

Metalsa, a global automotive manufacturer with 70 years of industry experience, is seeking a Group Leader 1 to lead press operations at our Hopkinsville, KY facility. In this role, you will serve as the on-the-floor expert for press controls, developing, auditing, and improving standardized work, 5S, and quality practices while conducting on-the-job training for team members. You'll lead daily shift start-ups, drive team engagement and accountability, and ensure a safe, high-quality, and productive press operation in line with the Metalsa Operating System. The ideal candidate brings at least one year of proven Team Leader experience, a High School diploma or GED, and hands-on familiarity with tools like OJT, Team Leader Boards, Poka-Yoke, and Job Safety Analysis. This role requires flexibility to work any shift and overtime with little advance notice.
