Description of Job Duty
Assist the Head Athletic Trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program. Specific duties include supervising the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, assisting with physical examinations, supervising graduate students, providing athletic trainer coverage of athletic practices and contests, to include travel with assigned athletic teams, and assisting with administrative duties. Sporting assignment will be with Men's Basketball and Men's Golf. Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary
Commensurate with education and experience. Level P2, Grade 8.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of one year of athletic training experience. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification "national" certification required. Tennessee Athletic Trainers "state" license or eligibility for license. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for serving as an assistant athletic trainer in a NCAA Division I collegiate, coeducational athletic training program.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with intercollegiate student-athletes.
