Associate Patient Services Specialist

Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization/pre- certification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service. Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote sacred encounters. Age-Related Competencies: Ability to work with patients of all ages and explain payer benefits. Patient may require voice elevation, repetitive information and require understanding acknowledgment.
