What you'll do

  • Work in a cross-functional development team where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of daily work.
  • Perform full-cycle hardware development including requirement analysis, block diagrams, schematic capture, and generating design specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the PCB layout team to produce high-quality, reliable boards that meet performance, manufacturability, and testability requirements.
  • Execute designer verification activities, including writing and running test plans, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with industry and military standards.
  • Participate in EMC/EMI investigations, root-cause debugging, and mitigation planning throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Support project scheduling, cost estimation, and risk identification while ensuring successful integration, DFT, DFM, and system-level validation.

What you'll need to get the job done

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunication, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in military or avionics hardware development, including knowledge of MIL-STD design practices and/or MIL-STD-461 or DO-160 Sections 17–23 for EMC/EMI qualification.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, including power supplies, signal conditioning, ADC/DAC conversion, and sensors.
  • Proficiency with microcontrollers, memory interfaces, and embedded hardware architecture.
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces and serial communication protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, LVDS, PCIe, etc.
  • Ability to capture schematics, review datasheets, and work collaboratively with engineers across disciplines.
  • Competence in EMC/EMI testing, troubleshooting, and implementing design-level mitigations (filters, shielding, grounding strategies).
  • Familiarity with constraints management and coordinating PCB layout activities to ensure electrical and mechanical performance.
  • Hands-on experience using standard lab equipment and Designer Verification techniques.
  • Ability to drive issues to closure, work methodically, and participate in structured design and technical reviews.
